Lake Quinsigamond Community Rowing serves the entire Worcester area for recreational and competitive rowing, both sweep and sculling. As the Adult branch of LQCR, the Worcester Boat Club focuses primarily on partner sculling, in our quads (four rowers) and our doubles (two rowers). And we are one of the few clubs anywhere with an octet , and actually use it!
As exciting as it might appear to an onlooker, there is little to match the thrill of being one of those fortunate eight rowers as we blaze through the lake waters.
We are at all levels of experience too - from adult novices to those with high school and college experience. Young, old, tall, short, port or starboard, it doesn't matter.
What we do have in common is that we are fun, fit, healthy, and happy - many smiles all around, and every day!
